Business automation for Québec SMBs

In many SMBs, the same numbers get typed three times: into the accounting software, into an Excel file, then into an email to the owner. Automation puts an end to that. Data flows from one program to the next on its own, reconciliations happen without anyone thinking about them, and leadership gets up-to-date numbers. Génosa does this with the software you already have — QuickBooks, Sage, Acomba, Odoo and others — and adds AI where it genuinely helps.

What we automate most often

We always start with the weekly tasks that need no judgment. They eat your team’s time and cause data-entry errors.

  • ·Entering supplier invoices and matching them to purchase orders and receipts
  • ·Bank reconciliation and tracking incoming payments
  • ·Following up on receivables: who owes what, since when, and which reminders to send
  • ·Sales, margin and inventory reports that used to be built by hand in Excel
  • ·Moving orders, timesheets or production data into accounting
  • ·Simple alerts: a falling margin, a customer over their credit limit, low stock

With your current software, not instead of it

We don’t ask you to change systems. We connect to what you already use and keep information moving between your tools.

QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop: sales, invoices, payments and the general ledger can be read and updated automatically, then combined with your other sources in one clear report.

Sage 50 and Sage 300: we pull entries, receivables, payables and inventory to avoid double entry and prepare leadership reports.

Acomba: widely used by Québec SMBs. We extract accounting and inventory data so it is visible outside the software itself.

Odoo: its openness lets us go further, with automations directly in sales, purchasing, inventory and accounting. See also our page on adding AI to Odoo.

Dynamics 365 Business Central, Xero, Zoho, NetSuite, plus your Excel files and in-house tools, are supported too.

Where AI makes the difference

Classic automation follows fixed rules. AI adds flexibility: it reads a PDF invoice that never has the same layout, recognizes the right supplier, suggests the right account and flags anything unusual.

It can also answer your questions in plain language: “Which customers are paying late this month?” or “Why did project X lose margin?”. Answers come from your own data, securely connected to the best AI models on the market.

Someone on your team always has the final word on what matters. AI prepares, suggests and flags; you decide.

How we work

Everything starts with a free diagnostic. We look at your software, your files and how information moves in your company, then target the automations that free up the most time.

Then we deliver in small steps. Each automation is tested with your team before it goes live, so you see results early instead of at the end of a long project.

Finally, we document what was done and stay available to adjust as your needs change: a major new customer, new software, a new way of invoicing.

Throughout the project, you get regular updates in plain language: what was automated, what it changes for your team and what comes next.

Which businesses

Service, distribution, manufacturing or construction SMBs that grew faster than their processes. If your team spends too much time copying numbers and not enough serving customers, that is exactly where automation pays off.

We are based in Montréal and work across Québec, on site or remotely. Automation projects can also be partly funded by public programs; see our page on AI funding for SMBs.

Frequently asked questions

How much does an automation project cost?

It depends on how many programs need connecting and how many tasks to automate. The free diagnostic is there to pin that down: you get a clear estimate for your situation before committing.

How long before we see results?

We deliver in steps, starting with the most useful automation. The schedule depends on your systems and your team’s availability, and is set with you after the diagnostic.

Do you work outside Montréal?

Yes. We serve SMBs across Québec, elsewhere in Canada and in the United States. Much of the work is done remotely, with on-site meetings when useful.

Do we need to change our accounting software?

No, in the vast majority of cases. We automate around QuickBooks, Sage, Acomba, Odoo or your current ERP.

Is our data secure?

Yes. Access is limited to what is needed, connections are secured and you stay in control of your data.
